General Question
What is the Product made of?
Our current range of EDC products is crafted from high-quality acrylic, using precision laser cutting to achieve clean, accurate results with excellent strength and durability. Each piece is designed to be practical, hard-wearing, and built for everyday use.
Accessories such as the Hoist and GARAGE ONE are 3D printed.
Where is the product made?
Made and designed in New Zealand.
There is no dropshipping of this product, and the design is unique to us.
Why Laser Cutting?
While 3D printing is a great option, and something we use across many of our accessories, we wanted our EDC range to be built to handle the real world.
That’s why we’ve opted for precision laser-cut acrylic. It gives the products a clean, sharp finish while providing the strength and durability needed for everyday use, without the same concerns around warping, heat, or long-term wear that can come with some 3D printed parts.
Are the cars included?
While we’d love to include every car featured in our product images, please note that the vehicles shown are for display purposes only and are not included with your purchase.
Do I need anything to use an EDC product?
Our core products are built to be strong, the only thing you need (depending on the product) is the plastic packaging it comes with. We've designed our products to be as user friendly as possible, and if you need help, you can view our guides on the instructions page.
What if the packaging plastic gets cracked?
This is certainly a possibility. Most manufacturers, such as Hot Wheels, don’t design their packaging with reuse in mind. However, as collectors, there’s a good chance you’ll have plenty of packaging already, and probably plenty more to come.
This means swapping the packaging between cars shouldn’t be an issue. In most cases, once the car has been removed, the original packaging is simply thrown away anyway, so why not give it a second life?
How do I place an order?
Shopping with us is easy. Browse our range, choose the products you’d like, and add them to your cart. When you’re ready to place your order, head to the checkout and follow the steps to complete your purchase.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express) and PayPal.
If I buy the STL files, how can I use them?
The STL files are available to buy for expanding your collection as we believe it's worthwhile having that option for collectors
While we don't offer 3D printing services, local maker spaces can print them for you, or if you know anyone with a 3D printer.
The files are optimised to use as little support material as possible and print easily. There are print guides included with each STL file, which will be emailed to you upon purchase

Returns and Refunds
For change-of-mind returns, unused physical products may be returned within 7 days of delivery
We want you to be happy with your Pit Box Garage purchase. If there’s a problem with your order, please contact us through our store contact page or reply to your order confirmation email.
Change-of-mind returns
Unused physical products may be returned within 7 days of delivery. Items must be unused, in their original condition, and returned with their original packaging.
Please contact us before sending a return. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs for change-of-mind returns. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
Once the returned item has been received and inspected, we’ll let you know whether the return has been approved. Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to process the refund.
Faulty, damaged, or incorrect products
If your physical product arrives faulty, damaged, or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible with your order number and photos showing the issue.
Where appropriate, we’ll send a replacement and cover the related shipping costs. If a replacement isn’t reasonably available, we’ll provide another remedy as required under New Zealand consumer law.
Digital products and STL files
Because digital files are delivered electronically and can’t be physically returned, we don’t offer change-of-mind refunds for digital STL files after they have been delivered or accessed.
If a digital file is faulty, corrupted, or materially different from its description, please contact us so we can provide a working replacement or another appropriate remedy.
Exceptions
We may decline a change-of-mind return if the product has been used, damaged after delivery, altered, or returned without its original packaging.
Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act or any other rights that can’t legally be excluded.
